Presenting the all time classic gravy - Old Delhi style Butter Chicken/Butter Paneer gravy! Known as the "Makhani Gravy", this can be used to prepare tikka masalas, butter paneer, or you can add your favourite ingredient.

 

We suggest using paneer or for Vegans, toss in your favourite veggies - recommended combination of veggis are cauliflower, green beans, peas, potatoes, capsicum, sweet corn.

 

While we are a predominantly vegetarian company and this gravy is supplied completely vegan, you can ofcourse add your favourite ingredient as per your lifestyle - veggies, chicken or otherwise.

Makhani Gravy (500 ml/4 People)

  • Ingredients

    Tomatoes, Sunflower oil, Garam Masala Mix, Cashews, Ginger, Garlic, Cashewnuts, Melon seeds, Coriander seeds, Cumin seeds, White pepper, Black pepper, Mace, Nutmeg, Cloves, Green & Black Cardomoms, Bay Leaves, Cinnamon, Red chillies, Star anise, Salt, Fenugreek Leaves, Turmeric.

    Recipe (Vegetarian - Paneer Tikka Masala)

    350 gms paneer

    Cut paneer into cubes. Oil in pan. Cubes into pan + sprinkle spice mix. Toss around and Saute for 1 min. Add sauce. Cover and Cook for 5 mins on high heat! Remove to serving dish. A dollop of butter and ur done!

    Recipe (Vegan - using mix veggies or grilled cauliflower)

    This one uses a combination of Cauliflower, Green Beans (French Beans), Potatoes, Sweet Corn Kernels, Green Peas, Capsicum and Carrots OR Solely grilled cauliflower

    500 gms mixed veggies or grilled cauliflower for cauli tikka masala

    1. Put 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Put in chopped veggies and sprinkle the supplied spice mix. Add 200 ml of water and salt. Cover and cook on medium heat till veggies are almost done. (For cauli tikka masala - mix cauli florets with 2 tbsps oil and spice mix and grill till done)

    2. Pour the gravy. Cover and cook for 5 mins on high heat.

    3. Its ready! Yes its this simple.

    Recipe (Non Vegetarian - Chicken Tikka Masala)

    1. Marinade ur ingredient with the spice mix.

    2. Grill or bake in oven till done. (If cooking in a pan, put some oil, add ingredient and 100 ml water. cover and cook till done)

    3. 2 tbps oil in pan. Put ur cooked ingredient. Pour the gravy and 50 ml cream. Cover and simmer on high heat for 5 min. Pour in serving bowl, a dollop of butter and eat straightaway!!!!!!

    Due to the current exceptional pandemic situation, we will only do contactless deliveries. Our drivers will leave your packs outside your door or in your letter box. Customers will bear the responsibility of retrieving the packs and to ensure subsequent storage/cold chain.
